Pregue a Palavra (PAP)

TLI partners with the First Baptist Church of Atibaia (PIBA) in Atibaia, Brazil. From 2013-2023, TLI provided consulting, support, and instructors to help PIBA start their own church-based seminary. Through this program, many students have received both academic training and supervised ministry experience as a PIBA elder mentored them over the course of their three year training program. The graduates are active in pastoral ministry across Brazil, conservative Christian publishing, and in the leadership of an international mission.

In 2023, PIBA partnered with Pregue a Palavra (Preach the Word) to begin offering a Post-Graduate Certificate in Biblical Exposition. TLI is helping to provide instructors for this program that is primarily aimed at training and equipping leaders in Pregue a Palavra, a ministry devoted to developing pastors who are faithful expositors of God's word. The Pregue a Palavra leaders who are being trained through the Post-Graduate program are themselves involved in training hundreds of pastors throughout Brazil and several other countries. TLI continues to provide credentialed instructors who prepare their own courses three times a year for this program, helping to strengthen churches throughout Brazil and surrounding nations.
