Our national partners, Pastor Garry and Pastor Smith, lead a seminary and biblical institute located just outside the city of Santiago in the Dominican Republic. They are providing theological training for Hattian pastors and aspiring ministry leaders in their native languages of French and Creole. Due to the ongoing violence and instability in Haiti few opportunities remain for Haitians to receive theological training in their home country. TLI has partnered with Garry and Smith to bring theological training to approximately 50 Haitian students who are committed to growing in their ability to understand and communicate the Scriptures.

COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course 6 equips the trainees to understand letters accurately and to communicate them clearly and relevantly. Ephesians has been chosen as a representative of this genre. Sample passages from Ephesians will be the focus (e.g., 1:1–14; 2:1–10; 3:1–13; 4:1–16, 17–24; dip into chapters 5–6).
